An Agricultural Business Idea for Changing Times

Agriculture is the most neglected area of business. Though it provides the most fundamental needs for human life, the stake holders of the field i.e farmers and labourers engaged in this field, are living from hand to mouth. The fundamental reasons for this state of affairs are, 1. The glare of nature, 2. Having no idea of the market for the produce, 3. Unscientific government policies. Due to all these hurdles, farmers are unable to make both the ends meet. As a result, farmers are committing suicides. But in a scientific way, the above hurdles can be overcome and farmer can be at the profitable end. This type of business ideas can prove to be boons for the farmers and the nation.
In India, major portion of population is engaged in agriculture. Our economy is an agro economy. But due to unscientific ways of cultivation, no support to the farmers in finding market for their produce and unscientific government policies, the agriculture sector is unable to support the GDP of the respective country substantially.
If scientific mothods are used and market is provided to the farmers, farmers have the potential to set right the withering global economies.
Providing subsidies and waiving of loans, etc to the farmers are not scientific ways in modern economies.
Instead, they are not only hollowing the economies but also causing damage to the self respect of them.
